Environmentally Engaged

Mercury's factory practices ISO-14000; and has initiated the certification process where completion is scheduled by year-end 2012   Environmental concisou practices are wide-spread throughout the company and include:

• Oil-impermeable plastic sheeting under concrete flooring
• Oil-resistant epoxy painting of floors to prevent groundwater seepage
• Venting of heat from the factory based on the Bernoulli-Effect
• Centrifuging of oil from Swarf, planned Briquetting of Swarf
• Treatment & recycling of used oil & coolant
